Anna Wiernicka

Anna Wiernicka, P.hD., is a historian, lecturer, researcher and genealogist. From 2011 until 2018, she was associated with the Varsaviana research group at Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw. Her scientific interest is history and the culture of Jews in XIX century Kingdom of Poland. Recently, she has concentrated her interest specifically in the position and role of woman in XIX century. As well she continues her research on the everyday life of the Jewish families in the Kingdom of Poland. Since 2022, Dr. Wiernicka is a member of Association of Polish Professional Genealogists.
